It was 1919, the year the Treaty of Versailles was signed. In an Italy marked by post-war crisis, but bubbling with great hopes for recovery, first steps were taken by the Aurora pen company. In that year, the success enjoyed by the mythical Aurora pen coincided with a new historic direction for Italy. The country woke up to the first rays of a sun destined not to set, and Aurora became a company destined for success.

From those very first years, the company demonstrated its ability to produce writing instruments with inimitable allure and refinement. Having earned the appreciation of admirers around the world, the Aurora trademark comprised forms and materials that, from the beginning, were tangible examples of the most refined products made in Italy.

Each model, studied and produced with passion and indisputable ability, represents a new step forward in the history of the company. Every Aurora product has a story to tell, an Italian story, a story of modernity and tradition.

The company’s historic office, on via Della Basilica 9, in the heart of Torino, was destroyed by the 1943 bombardments during World War II. Aurora moved its headquarters in the post-war period to the northern suburbs of the city in the Abbadia di Stura area. From these headquarters, business is conducted today with more than fifty countries. Here, through the production of beautiful pens, Aurora will continue to be an interpreter of good taste, technological innovation and Italian style.

The Products
Aurora pens have been manufactured in Italy since 1919. Its products combine craftsmanship of the finest artisans and the most modern technologies available. Aurora offers a full line of fountain pens, rollerball pens, ballpoints and mechanical pencils. The company dedicates a full series of limited productions and limited editions to the collector. As one example, Aurora recently celebrated its eighty-fifth anniversary, and introduced a limited edition to commemorate it.
