Curtis Australia is the premier luxury brand of writing instruments from Australia. The writing instrument range is a natural extension of the jewellery created by Master Jeweller Glenn Curtis. Mr. Curtis, a third generation jeweller, has taken his wealth of experience and Award-Winning expertise to create a unique line of luxury writing instruments and accessories for the new millennium.

Each series has its own characteristics that showcase the various master techniques, such as the 400-year-old lost wax casting process, used to create the finest in jewellery and luxury instruments. Curtis only uses solid precious metals (sterling silver, solid gold) untreated by plating to allow the natural patina to enhance its designs and eliminate the blemishes that can occur when plating fails.

The designs are drawn from natural elements (Classic Luxury—“Lily”), historical influences (such as the Aboriginal motifs found on the Prestige “Dream Time”), Architectural and Design Eras (Art Deco and Art Nouveau) as well as pure inspiration.

Glenn Curtis’ ethos in his work holds that the Primary Rule is “Form follows function,” which becomes the basis and overriding principle in all of his creations.
