The Aquila Group, founded in Naples by Leopoldo Aquila, has over 60 years of pen-making experience, producing and exporting the finest pens worldwide. Like Ducati, the it has a passion for design excellence. Leopoldo realized early on that, in addition to being a writing instrument, a pen could also be an expression of artistry and enduring value. This philosophy has continued to influence the company three generations later.

The Ducati pen collection draws inspiration from the historic Ducati motorcycle models of the 1960s and 1970s, built at the Borgo Panigale. Key styling details have been taken from Ducati fuel tanks, spoked wheels and the iconic Scrambler Eagle logo. All the models (fountain pen, ballpoint, rollerball pen and pencil) come in vintage-style packaging. As part of the Ducati collection, the Aquila Group has also created a range of top-quality small leather goods.

The new collection of Ducati high-performance pens brings the great tradition of Italian design and race-track-bred performance to the exacting world of fine writing instruments. The same style and attention to detail, as well as the quality and high performance, that marks the new family of Ducati Sport Classic motorcycles also inspires this collection of pens and small leather goods. These products are modern and high performing, but also full of tradition and respect for a glorious past, the golden age of Italian sport motorcycling.

The Ducati pen, made of aluminum and brass, is manufactured with attention to detail. It is smooth and well balanced, with a weight that signifies quality. The fountain and rollerball pens are available in seven color combinations. Each is reminiscent of the much-loved Ducati Spaggiari motorcycle. The fountain pen nib is steel; the cap and barrel are a robust, lacquered aluminum. The band on the cap is reminiscent of a vintage headlight cover. The cap is inspired by the fuel tank, boasting the classic Scrambler Eagle logo, and the streamlined clip is shaped like the brackets of the engine or the punched wheel plates of the superbikes.

Ducati pens are available as a fountain pen, ballpoint, rollerball pen and pencil, and they are presented in elegant, vintage-style packaging.
