Elie Bleu
Elie Bleu workshops were created in 1976 in Paris. The company’s original work in fine woodcrafts led it to expand its humidor products, earning it international acclaim. The Robb Report magazine awarded Elie Bleu the Best Humidor designation in 1999 and again in 2000.
Reaching beyond the limits of refinement, Elie Bleu, celebrating its thirtieth year of artistry, also expresses its creativity in watch cases, jewelry and pen boxes, as well as office accessories. Fine engravings appear on all types of materials: wood, mother-of-pearl, metal, horn, precious stones, leather and more. The products also display imaginative colors of varnishes that are perfectly applied to each piece.
Thirty-five passionate artisans each have their specialty, and all are experts in the basic skills of woodworking: cabinetmakers, sanders, varnishers, polishers, sheath-makers, inlayers, hinge fitters and others. Elie Bleu offers an exceptional selection of cases as well as exclusive limited edition pieces. Many are made to order, with specific and highly customized specifications.
The pen that Elie Bleu has created—in wood, of course—is the logical qualitative extension of the company’s growth and brand identity. These writing instruments are carved from sycamore, a natural and noble material. Its beauty is magnified by exquisite varnish, since this is one of the company’s specialties.
This writing instrument line reiterates the fantasy “fruit” colors that have made Elie Bleu a world-renown master in fine woodcrafts.
Today, exports represent seventy-five percent of the company’s sales.
