Jaguar Writing Machines, introduced in 2005, are inspired by Jaguar concept cars. The writing instrument collection is made of aluminum and finished in lacquer.

Giuseppe Aquila is the CEO, COO, and the driving force in the development of the Aquila Brands philosophy and marketing. One of his goals is for non-traditional pen buyers to experience the pleasure of writing. In developing a comprehensive assortment of lifestyle brands, he has acquired the rights to well known names: Ducati, a much coveted motorcycle brand; Jaguar, a prestigious car maker; and Smart, a European city car which became a cult-like phenomenon. Each brand has a range of products and pricing designed to fit a master plan of the Aquila Brands.

In 2004, the original factory in Naples was abandoned in favor of a more modern facility. Today the Aquila Brands facility calls Pastorano, Italy, a suburb of Caserta (not far from Naples), its home. In the midst of Italy’s “mozzarella region,” the Aquila Brand’s manufactory boasts the latest and the most sophisticated manufacturing equipment. While writing instruments are the main thrust, innovative designs in personal leather accessories, which epitomize the combination of Italian leather and Italian leather craftsmanship, are also offered by Aquila Brands.

The rich history of the Aquila family and their passion for writing instrument manufacturing is the foundation for their new vision, a vision that started taking shape after three years of arduous work and substantial investment. With this collection we interpret the essence of the brand’s spirit. Jaguar evokes purity of style, soul and character.
