Libelle

Libelle is a brand of writing instruments and leather accessories drawing on the inspiration of Italian and French designers. Libelle means “dragonfly” in Latin so, the dragonfly has become the symbol of Libelle. Throughout history, the dragonfly, one of the world’s oldest living creatures, has been a positive symbol of myths and legends. These are the themes that you will find always present in Libelle products: playfulness of design utilizing color, pattern, shapes and function that will both please and provide a means for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Libelle writing instruments offer a variety of styles and finishes at prices to fit everyone’s budget. They are available in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint  pens meeting the highest standard of quality. Each style is specifically designed with the finest materials, such as the Nature series, which includes three different styles of pens: one made of genuine mother-of-pearl, one with a mosaic pattern and the third with a picture of the Tuscan sunset embedded in the barrel. Other series include the Epic line with marbleized resin, and Spanish Eyes with a dramatic antique design in a special acrylic material.

In 2002, we decided the writing public was interested in a fine writing instrument at a price under $100. The line was launched with the goal of giving the customer exceptional value. Attention to quality was of the utmost importance. The nibs are made by the leading manufacturer in Germany. A rainbow of colors added to the excitement.
